upon the king (henry v) This piece was adapted from a piano solo of mine, which I then cleverly named Upon The King (piano solo). After hearing the piano solo, a friend of mine asked if I would expand upon it for her performance of a soliloquy from Shakespeare's Henry V called "Upon The King". This piece is an exploration of the voice as an instrument. There are only three tracks on this recording: one voice, one piano, and one synth bass. The piece is long (5:06) because it was specifically timed to end when the text of the soliloquy was done. Listen to it when you're in an ethereal state of mind; or if not then perhaps you will be in one when the piece is done.
